To Our Valued Menard Electric Cooperative Members,

Effective immediately in response to the Governor’s order to Stay at Home, our offices are hereby closed to the public.    
Cash payments cannot be accepted at this time.

Members are encouraged to use these other options for bill payments: 

• To Pay by credit card, debit card or E-check:
o Call into our office 24x7 at: (800) 872-1203 or (217) 632-7746
o Sign In to the Payments menu of your MyMEC mobile app
o Navigate to www.menard.com to login to our secure online Payment portal

• Drop-off your payment in the dropbox located outside the front of our headquarters at 14300 State Highway 97, Petersburg

• Mail your payment to us at: P.O. Box 200, Petersburg, IL  62675

If you are experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic, please contact the office during weekdays to make payment arrangements. Every effort will be made to assist our members during this time.

In addition, until further notice the Cooperative has issued a moratorium on cut-offs and disconnects for non-pay.  Disconnection notices will not be sent to your home or business. New Late Fees will not be assessed.     

Providing reliable electric service is our core mission.  We do this with a concern for the safety and well-being of our members, employees and the communities we serve.   
 
Continue to follow us on social media and our website (www.menard.com) as we provide operational updates.  We are focused at this time on maintaining a healthy workforce and ensuring our employees are available, so we can continue to provide reliable service to our members.
