Crop Scouting is designed just for you Lincoln Land F.S. Inc. has been offering a crop scouting program for the past 5 years. We scout field for insects, weeds, disease, population, plant growth, herbicide injury and any other questions you might have. We scout fields each week from the middle of May through the middle of August. Contact any of your Lincoln Land F.S. plants for more information.

Country
Hills Golf Course, located just seven miles from Petersburg, opened on July 4, 1993.
It's challenging and unique design and quaint country charm make it one of the
area's most popular courses.
The front nine is nestled over 80 acres of rolling hills and features numerous bunkers and water hazards, tree-lined fairways, and an electronic watering system from tee to green. A three-acre lake affects play on both par three holes. The back nine, scheduled to open on July 4, 2002, is a beautiful and challenging extension of the original course. The new nine features water on five holes, tiered greens, tree-lined fairways, and a number of greenside and fairway bunkers. The back adds some extra length and boasts a par three with a partial island green - sure to be one of the most breath-taking golf holes in the area.
Country Hills is open to the public year-round (weather permitting). Daily green fees are $10.00 for 9 holes and $18.00 for 18 holes. Cart rental is $5.00 per person per nine holes. Pull carts and rental clubs are also available. Season Pass rates for 2002 are: Single ($350.00), Couple ($400.00), Family ($450.00) and Business ($450.00).
Country Hills hosts league play for ladies on Tuesday evenings and for men on Thursday evenings. Senior golfers receive a discount on cart rental on Thursdays. A Junior Program for boys and girls 14 and under is held in June and a Junior Tournament in August. Couples Nights are popular summer events. An Anniversary Celebration each Fourth of July features an impressive fireworks display, an Over 50/Under 50 Tournament, and a Hole-In-One Contest. The Country Hills Classic, a two-day 36-hole tournament on the Central Illinois Amateur Golf Tour, is held in July each year.
A beautiful banquet room has recently been added to the Clubhouse, allowing Country Hills to host outing groups of all sizes as well as non-golf events such as business meetings, receptions, and family gatherings. A pro shop, driving range, and snack bar also compliment the course.
