Youth DayDo you know an outstanding high school junior or senior student? Each June, Menard Electric sends two students on an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. Finalists for the June trip join more than 200 other Illinois students in Springfield in the Spring for Illinois Electric and Telephone Cooperative Youth Day. Students tour the Supreme Court, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Old State Capitol in downtown Springfield along with visiting with their local legislators and learning about the legislative process at the State Capitol. At the end of the day two students are chosen for the Youth to Washington Tour. |
