How to Report An Outage
Call 1-800-872-1203 to report an outage.
Please be patient when phone lines are busy as we often experience a large
volume of calls during storms. We will work to get your information as soon as
we can.
In addition, you can help us by having the following information ready when you
call.
Your map location number or account number.
Is your meter receiving power?
One easy way to know is to look at your meter-if the display is blank you're not
receiving power from Menard Electric. If you see a display of numbers on your
meter, you're receiving power from the cooperative and the problem could be the
breakers in your home. Check them first before calling the co-op. If you can't
check your meter, just check your breakers before calling.
Are your neighbors out of power?
This can help us determine if the outage is due to an individual line problem.
Did you hear a loud noise before power went out? This can also help our linemen
isolate the cause of the outage. Any information you have that could help us
pinpoint an outage's cause is helpful.
