Budget Billing

Menard Electric Cooperative offers a
budget billing program for your residential or farm
electricity usage.
We'll calculate a monthly budgeted amount by estimating the
average kilowatt-hours used in the previous 12 months. For
new members, we'll use the best available data we have.
For 11 months (July-May) you'll be billed the same amount
each month. Then, in the 12th month, you'll receive a bill
containing either a credit (if you used less kilowatt hours
than expected during the previous 11 months) or an amount
due (if you used more kilowatt-hours). The settlement month
for budget billing will be June of each year.
